What Recovery? Nearly 11% of U.S. Homeowners Are Still Underwater

If you watch the news, you’ve heard about the recovering housing market—prices are up, inventory is low, mortgage interest rates are below 4%, and more people have jobs... Yet, more than 10% of homeowners are still underwater. To be exact, 5.4 million, or 10.8% of all mortgaged properties, had negative equity in the fourth quarter of 2014, according to a new report from CoreLogic, a California-based data provider.

2015 Cactus Reining Classic - “Eleven Great Years and Counting”

It was the eleventh anniversary of the Cactus Reining Classic at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. To say that the show has come a long way since its premier in 2005 is undoubtedly a king-sized understatement. Bamacat and Woody Be Lucky top Houston NCHA Mercuria Finals

The first draw in the NCHA Mercuria Open Finals, during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was the ticket for Bamacat, shown by Austin Shepard for the Bamacat Syndicate. The 6-year-old stallion, sired by High Brow Cat, won the qualifying go-round with 224 points, then came back with a 223-point win in the finals.
