The NCHA Mercuria World Series of Cutting kicked off yesterday in Columbus, Ohio at the All American Quarter Horse Congress (AAQHC). With almost 60 non-pro and open exhibitors, the Mercuria is a highlighted event during the AAQHC.

Bamacat and Woody Be Lucky top Houston NCHA Mercuria Finals

The first draw in the NCHA Mercuria Open Finals, during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was the ticket for Bamacat, shown by Austin Shepard for the Bamacat Syndicate. The 6-year-old stallion, sired by High Brow Cat, won the qualifying go-round with 224 points, then came back with a 223-point win in the finals.
